Setting Intentions
Yoga and Writing Workshop
with River Flow Yoga and Jenny Valentine
Sat 4th Jan 2019
11am - 6pm | £75
A little bit like making a miniature New Year's resolution; an intention is something many of us might make before a yoga practice or part of our daily rituals. An intention is usually something recognised as the practice of bringing awareness to a quality or virtue you’d like to cultivate for yourself. These are things we will explore through this work, making new intentions for the year ahead within your practice and how carry that though to how you want to 2019 to be for you.

Join us for this one-day Yoga and Writing workshop where you will set your own intentions for the year ahead. The day will begin with a Restorative Vinyasa Yoga Class with Graham Nolan of River Flow Yoga to clear those festive cobwebs and clear the mind for the year ahead. This will follow by a light Vegan and Vegaterain brunch and a 2 hour writing workshop with Jenny Valentine completed by a final Vinyasa class to close the day.

This course is suitable for beginners. Participants are invited to bring notebooks, paper and your favourite writing tools.
Setting new goals, within and outside of your practice, which you will explore through a writing workshop with Local Author Jenny Valentine.
Set down your intentions and Values using poetry, journal and free-writing techniques. Explore your voice through first person narrative - the "I" in memoir as well as creative imaginative prose. Come away feeling confident in your ability to put pen to paper and let it flow.
